Join us at one of our Open Events at LaFinca Grand Café and discover Brighton College Madrid ahead of our opening in September 2027
This booklet has been written to introduce you to our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) at Brighton College Madrid. We hope it will answer many of your questions regarding your child’s time in Nursery and Reception and help establish a close relationship between home and school.
The Brighton College curriculum uses the English National Curriculum as its basic framework for teaching and learning but goes well above and beyond it. We ensure that our provision also meets local Spanish curriculum requirements while our highly personalised approach supports each pupil to make progress, achieve well and be appropriately challenged.
The Brighton College curriculum uses the English National Curriculum as the framework for teaching and learning but goes well beyond it. In doing so it provides our learners with the core knowledge and skills needed for achievement in the Middle School (Key Stage 3). The requirements of the Spanish curriculum are fully integrated, and all children become confident learners in both English and Spanish and are fully conversant with the culture of both countries.
In Years 7 and 8, all pupils study English, Spanish, mathematics, three separate sciences of biology, chemistry and physics, Latin & linguistics, French, art, design and technology, drama, The Story of Our Land (history and geography), computer science, music and physical education (which includes dance).
We hope that our website has given you all the information you need, but if you have any further questions for our Admissions team, we'd love to hear from you.
